Did you know that in the Copperas Cove schools, it is against school board policy to defend yourself when somebody physically assaults you? It's true. Self defense, which is a right granted by the Texas Legislature, has been revoked by the Copperas Cove Independent School District. If a bully is beating up a kid, and the victim defends himself, he is subject to suspension from school. No ifs, ands, or buts.

Folks, I kid you not.

Now, I wonder if I punched the people who made this silly rule... they would stand there and let me punch them repeatedly, right?
